I. Club History
ZirMed University Toastmasters was chartered on January 25, 2010. The club had a total of 39 Charter Members. The club is very grateful to the generous support of ZirMed & ZirMed University for helping organize our club.
The Club is also very fortunate and blessed to have the support from the District 11 officers in their guidance and assistance both before and after the charter process.
The club had two sponsors - Dave Mattingly and Ashish Parekh, and currently has two mentors - Richard Oldham and Alan Pauw.
II. Club Meetings
ZirMed Univeristy Toastmasters meets every Friday at 12 Noon on the 4th floor in the Training Rooms (404 and 405) of the ZirMed Towers, located at 888 West Market Street.
III. Speech Contests
Congratulations to the winners of our Club Level Speech Contest in March 2010:
International Speech Contest Winner - Dollie Nordmann
Tall Tales Speech Contest Winner - Annette Atherton
Congratulations to Dollie Nordmann and Annette Atherton for their success at the Area 66 Contest on March 30, 2010.
Dollie Nordmann took home 1st Place in the International Speech Contest and will be competing at the Division F Contest on May 15, 2010.
Annette Atherton took home 2nd Place in the Tall Tales Contest.

IV. March Madness Contest
"Membership Madness" Final Challenge!
Team A and Team D led the pack and had a final game on Friday April 9th at our Club Meeting. Team D won the 2010 Membership Madness with nearly 200 points!!! The Team Receives a FREE LUNCH!!!
This was a very successful membership drive. We had 4 new members join and many guests. There was very good participation from all teams!
V. Upcoming Meetings
Every month our club will strive to add variety to our meetings to make them more fun and enjoyable for all members. Officers will be deciding on themes and then allowing members to vote on themes.
Feel free to email one of the officers or utilize the Forum on the site to submit suggestions!
VI. Spring Conference 2010
ZirMed University Toastmasters sent a total of 5 members to the Spring Conference in Lafayette, IN which was held on May 21/22, 2010. The members of the club attending the conference were: Patricia Edmondson, Dave Mattingly, Ashish Parekh, Gary Ten Hoven, Jaclan Williams. Members enjoyed meeting other fellow Toastmasters and participating in a variety of education sessions. The members are looking forward to the Fall Conference held here in Louisville Oct 15/16, 2010.
